Bank PO examinations are amongst the most popular in the country looking at employment potential of the banking sector. One may expect severe competition owing to its great demand and hence, requires a great amount of hard work so as to crack it. The most common pattern for bank PO exams is an objective paper, which consists of English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General awareness, and a descriptive section which tests your writing skills. Here are some tips that will help you crack these much in demand paper:-
Time Management
In these exams, one is likely to answer 225 questions in 135 minutes. Thus, time management is need of the hour. Keeping that in mind, one should answer the general awareness section first because it involves reading the questions and marking the answer.
Answer only those you are absolutely sure about
The grammar and vocabulary section in the English paper is very easy and one should attempt it next. Adopting this strategy helps build confidence and manages time well.
 
Maximize your score in the Data Interpretation section
One of the most easy to attempt section in the bank PO exam will be data interpretation. Many of the questions can be answered in this section by simply looking at the given data. So one should try and make sure to answer as many questions as possible in the Data Interpretation section.
  
Being selective while answering is advisable
The aim is to maximize your score; so one doesn’t need to answer the entire question in the objective paper. You should attempt the ones you are absolutely sure about. In the quantitative section too, you should move from easier ones to the more difficult ones. Your chances of cracking the exam are high even if you attempt or answer correctly around 170 of questions with 90% accuracy rate.   
Read a lot for the descriptive part

It is a important to read a lot of newspapers and magazines so as to develop a good understanding of events happening around you. Watching debates on news channels can also helps gain a better insight into the pros and cons of situations.
