Language Systems (IELTS)
How many languages are there in the world? Probably way too
many ! We often think, speak and listen in a language that has been shaped by
our culture, profession, experiences and many more.With times changing and the
world becoming a global village, one language that has emerged as a global
language of communication is English.
Today’s article talks about International English Language
Systems (IELTS) that is taken worldwide by a wide variety of learners : Students , Professional, Homemakers Etc. who
either intend to study or work in an English Speaking Country. IELTS is
recognized by various institutions throughout the world as a measure of
competence to study, work in the medium of English. It asseses how well one can
understand and use it. There are four tests which all candidates have to take:
listening, reading, writing and speaking. Each tests focuses on a different
skill. The Listening and Speaking are the same for all candidates but the
reading and writing sections are available in two different modules: Academic
and General Training ; depending on the kind of course the candidates intend to
follow. You don’t pass or fail IELTS. You are given a band score out of 9 which
shows your ability in each of the four tests and overall band.

in which intonation, tone of voice, facial expressions, gestures and demeanour
contribute to communication.

insight into other people’s lives and way of thinking and opening up the
classroom to other people ideas and experiences.
